Kevin Brown is a Bass/Baritone singer based in Richmond, CA.

Kevin started out as a jazz pianist in New York City in the late 1970s but later in life rediscovered the joy of singing - specifically opera.

He started voice training with Lee Steward and then renowned vocal couch James Toland. In 2018, Kevin joined the Livermore Valley Opera Company in the chorus and in his first opera, Ballo en Maschera, sang the comprimario role of Emilia’s servant in addition to the chorus. Since that first opera, Kevin has been in 10 productions with Livermore Valley Opera singing both in the chorus and in a variety of comprimari roles including Zaretsky in Eugene Onegin, the Jailer in Tosca,the Herald in Otello, First Priest in Magic Flute and The Corporal in the upcoming production of Daughter of the Regiment.

Kevin is also active singing as a soloist and section lead in the San Francisco Bay Area with several choirs.
